World Cup 2010The Union will now be throwing open its doors on Saturday 12th June for the England USA football. Gus (he’s Italian, so doesn’t care who wins!) will start serving drinks and bar snacks from 5pm with the match due to kick off at 7.30pm. Those members preferring to watch Britain’s Got Talent (yes darlings, we know who you are!!) will be just as welcome in the front bar! ‘Cocktails before theatre anyone?’ Bookings are also coming in thick and fast for the England matches on the 18th and 23rd June, so please do book early to avoid disappointment. Union Club World Cup SweepUnion members are all invited to partake in the Union Club World Cup sweep (even Scottish staff get a team to cheer on this way!) £10 gets you a shot at glory, with the winner taking home a recession busting £180! ‘Obviously net of any outstanding membership fees!’ Tickets are available from the bar, telephone accounts will not be accepted - ‘cash on delivery this time!'
