About the event
Celebrate English Wine Week with an exclusive tasting of the latest releases from Hampshire’s own Longdown Vineyard.
Join us for an evening dedicated to "Boldly English" craft as we showcase the debut 2022 vintage from this independent, family-run business based in Twyford, Winchester.
This special tasting features their two debut sparkling wines, both of which have earned accolades at the 10th Anniversary Independent English Wine Awards (IEWA26).
Featured Selections:
Longdown English Sparkling White 2022: A Gold Medal winner and recipient of the IEWA26 Best English Sparkling White accolade, this traditional method wine offers delightful hints of green apple balanced by a sophisticated, toasty richness.
Longdown English Sparkling Rosé 2022: A Bronze Medal winner, this beautiful pale sunset pink sparkling wine is bursting with vibrant summer fruit flavors, making it the ideal accompaniment for a summer celebration.
