About the event
The one, the only, Carolyn Dawson (plus Tommy) return to the Union Club kitchen for one night only.
After nearly three decades at the Club, Carolyn has in recent years stepped away to focus on teaching others via her cookery lessons, as well as cooking and baking, jams and preserves for local markets (and enjoying some daylight.)
But you can't stay away forever, and we've lured her back to the kitchen for one evening, to cook up a beautiful supper for all the members who miss her (as well as some newbies who may never have enjoyed her fare?)
The menu
Bob's foccaccia
Sea bream crudo with picadito
Braised rabbit and white polenta
Market fish, fennel, crab and agretti salad, lemon butter
Bitter Italian leaves, honeyed walnuts, pear and pecorino
Bonet - chocolate, amaretto and caramel pudding from Piedmont
and if that wasn't quite enough... cheese to finish!
Dinner will be £70 per head to include all of the above, and we will have a specially curated wine list on the night to order from.
As Carolyn is coming back to cook the dishes she loves most, we can't necessarily accommodate dietary requirements, however if you email us in advance she will see what we can do to make sure you attend.
It's going to be a very special night for all lovers of the Union, and we really hope you can be a part of it.
