WAR OF THE ROSÉS : Wine Dinner (BOOKINGS CLOSED)

7pm for 7.30pm start, Friday 30 June, 2023

The Wars of the Roses were a series of bloody civil wars for the throne of England between two competing royal families: the House of York and the House of Lancaster, both members of the age-old royal Plantagenet family.

In contrast, this War of the Rosés wine dinner will be an absolutely delightful evening enjoying the soft, blush hues of six competing glasses of refreshing rosé paired with a delicious spread courtesy of the fabulous Union kitchen.

There’ll be representation from the usual light and fruity swimming-pool-summer-holiday wines, but we’ll also present some bolder and more complex versions of the style to complement your three course meal, creating some culinary matches made in heaven. Expect plenty of wine-based chatter and the opportunity to learn a bit, but mostly a fun occasion (no previous wine knowledge is required.)

So – let’s raise a glass of pink goodness and toast to a fabulous rosé wine dinner. Drink wine, say no to war!

Tickets cost £90 for three courses and six accompanying wines. Arrive from 7pm for a start at 7.30pm sharp.
