WSET LEVEL 2: Eight week course

Mondays (and two Wednesdays) 6.30 - 8.30pm over eight weeks, £450
Do you want to take your wine knowledge to the next level?

WSET’s Level 2 Award in Wines is a beginner- to intermediate-level qualification, suitable for both industry professionals and wine enthusiasts, and intended for those wishing to learn about a wide range of wines. (Please note – it is not necessary to have completed the WSET Level 1 before studying Level 2... if you're a wine drinker already you will be fine.)

You’ll learn about: the principal and regionally important grape varieties of the world, the regions in which they are grown, and the styles of wine they produce.

Through a combination of (fun!) tasting and (interesting!) theory, you’ll explore factors that impact style and quality and learn how to describe these wines with confidence.

Classes are taught by Union member and wine educator Richard Household of The Wimbledon Wine School, and his courses are always enjoyable and engaging. Our class sizes are kept small which means the courses are intimate and personal and there’s opportunity to get to know your fellow students... some of whom will be Union Club team members!

The cost of the course – which includes all of your wines, study materials and examination – is £450 per person.
