In the centre of Soho, deep in the heart of London’s
media and theatre land, the Union occupies a 270 year old, listed Georgian
town house of exceptional character and charm. Widely loved among the
senior media folk of the area as a unique and exquisite institution;
the Union is a true oasis.
About the Union Club
A lively and businesslike atmosphere is created by carefully selected members, and of course, our ever so charming staff, who always know who you are, and often, your guests
too. Relaxed, peaceful and very welcoming. Everyone feels at home at the Union.
The club provides a cool setting for informal business lunches or a jolly evening with friends by the fireside. The décor is rich and cosy, blending antique and modern
with style and wit to achieve an effect which is both bohemian and contemporary.

Dining at The Union
Our dining room is light,
elegant and airy; some say one of the most beautiful rooms in London.
Wood panelling, crystal chandeliers, open fires and an eclectic art collection
combine to create an ambience that is a true escape from today’s frosty minimalism. The Union is organic, friendly and ever so slightly off the wall. As Gene Kelly once
said to Judy Garland – ‘Let’s just put the show on right here in the barn!’ – that’s the Union style.
Our cooking is a keystone of our success; our chefs baking their own bread twice a day and running a busy, robust kitchen, much in the style of a English country house.
It’s
not unusual for members to call the kitchen direct, to request favourite dishes, plan a dinner party or just pinch a recipe.
Brunch
We are now serving brunch in the club from 10am -11.30am.
Private Hire
Similarly, managers are pleased to advise on functions & events, weddings,
meetings, launches, shoots, interviews, castings, screenings, promotions and
just plain old ‘knees ups’. Or perhaps it’s just a cup of tea and a bit of
TLC you require. Either way, the Union is open night and day for your escape
from it all.
